Reviews

If there's one thing that the Delaware Valley doesn't lack is good farmer's markets. However, I feel that each has their own pull for me. For Booth's Corner, it's the little restaurants, deli counters and the eclectic shops inside that I like. This particular farmer's market is only 15 minutes from where I am which make this very convenient on the weekends for me. Unlike the New Castle Farmer's Market, this one is all indoors with no outdoor flea market, but it does have multiple levels and a whole variety of different stores. In general if there's one thing that I wish was a little better was the width of the halls inside. They are a little tight and since it's pretty busy when they are open can be a little claustrophobic for those wary of that, especially when the stalls are right up against it. The other note, while not necessarily a disadvantage depending on where you're coming from, is that it isn't my favorite farmer's market for produce when it comes to value as their stall charges a bit more than either New Castle or Newark. It's great quality of produce but you will pay a bit more for that quality. The deli and meat stands are awesome with a nice variety of meats and reasonable prices. There's also a stall that sells slow cooker-ready meals that are great for parties or meals with little preparation as well as a "discount" store that sells general wares. There's even a couple stands that sell antiques (or "vintiques" depending on what they have). Might become a go-to for my deli meats and I want to try some of their meats. What will make me a repeat customer though are the little restaurants inside. Massimo's (which I reviewed separately) has great value as a place to grab a slice of pizza. There's a taco stand as well as a Dutch Country restaurant. They even have a stall for the 4th Street Cookies so you don't have to go all the way to Reading Terminal for them - try them, they do not disappoint. They also have an awesome water ice/treat stand as well with lots of sweet treats and Reading Draft sodas. As I said, I will definitely plan on coming here again and again, likely as a place to try some interesting food and maybe find a good deal on some "vintiques" that pique my interest.

First timer to Booths and I plan to go back. I was visiting friends in Wilmington and they took me. I loved the variety of merchants and goods. Had a nice lunch with meat from one of the delis and produce from another. It was delicious. We also bought some pastries and I cannot wait to have them. It’s a terrific place to get so many things. It was busy but not overly crowded and the lines moved quickly.

I could easily spend several hours here. This farmers market is filled with many stalls ranging from food, vintage, groceries, and convenience store items. There were definitely more food items, and the bakeries were expansive. Prices were about moderate and ranged from shop to shop. The staff were pretty nice.

Great indoor farmer's market we came across traveling through the area. This market has a little bit of everything, including many food options and it all looked good! The strawberry creme pie from the Amish was excellent, my son's and I thoroughly enjoyed. The produce was fresh and looked so good I grabbed some string beans and sweet corn from another vendor as well. Overall asl great farmer's market!!

This is the farmer’s market I would go to during my childhood and have traveled all the way over from Jersey visit again as an adult. One of the best farmers markets~! The food here is great and you can’t go wrong with giving any of the vendors a try. The pastry area has always been my favorite and Cajun Kate’s is my newest obsession. They have a booth that every person would be interested in at least checking out once and this place is also huge. It gets busy for a reason so the best time to go is on Friday rather than Saturday! The earlier, the better !

I love everything about this place! Hot food and bakery areas are a must but it's a shame that some of the stores are selling AI art to the unsuspecting. I hope that no one falls for this lazy attempt at making money.

The Delco farmers mega-market, with at least one of everything that you could possibly dream of and more. I stopped in for some prepared Italian food, potato chips, and a snack, and I left with some old movies as well. Every trip is a surprise and filled with a bit of wonder, this place is a gem.
